I support people in their transition to a whole-foods plant-based diet. I tweak your favorite foods and make them healthier and I give cooking classes. I teach mindfulness to individuals and employee groups. I help you have a toxic-free home and give you healthy habits to lower your risk for diseases. I also assist restaurants in creating healthy plant-based menus.
The 60-min, one-on-one consulting sessions will be conducted over the phone or via Skype or in person on Maui.
I am an advocate of preventing disease. I have had medical hurdles that I have conquered through diet and lifestyle changes, and in that time I have educated myself in a wide realm of health and wellness. It is my passion. I am a certified Holistic Health Counselor, accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer and I was a nurse in the early '90s. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all the areas of your life are connected. I understand that stress in a job or relationship might lead you to lose sleep, skip exercise, or eat things that ultimately make you feel worse! I am knowledgeable about the chemicals, additives, pesticides, hormones, toxins in food products, beauty products, and household products. As we work together, you will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
